I set Redwood national park located in California as the background location for the project

I picked six major plants live in the redwood forest to create

I modeled trees and rocks using Zbrush and baked in Substance Painter

I used cards for little plants in Maya

I ended up using 9 types of plant assets for the project, including 3 plants that I have created for other projects
Textures / Materials

I created foliage and tree trunk textures in Substance Designer

I used footprints decals as some story elements

I created rain drop alpha texture in photoshop and made rain particle system in UE4
-
Using flip book system in UE4 material editor, I have added water dripping effects to the landscape material
-
The landscape material is blended with 3 materials - path, dirt, and water

I planned to make a redwood forest scene for the project, but I got some feedback about the focal point that add some story to the scene
-
I added a little pond with an altar and ruins as the focal point to the redwood forest scene
